While guests wait to be seated, they may have a drink in the bar, or they may shop in a nearby mall or run some important errands. When a table becomes available, the greeter simply tells the system to call the appropriate party, and the guest receives a call that informs her that her table is ready and then prompts her to accept, delay, or cancel seating.
